Look for Me

“Look for me in the trainyard: in love and lonely, successful and unfulfilled.” That’s from the Nik Daum wallpaper I have on my computer. I consume desktop wallpaper like I consume toilet paper. It’s a frequent occasion.

…in love and lonely, successful and unfulfilled…

But why? A resounding why, and a bellowing how? Look for me and you will find me. I have the light of love glowing in my skin. I succeed, even thrive, at what I do. When the mind and heart are bold navigators, they achieve their goals. They are true warriors. But how many warriors come out alive? And what are goals when they are met? They are bottomless pits, no? And they eat you alive.

There is no moralizing or preaching here. I am not saying to purge yourself of goals. Heavens! I am inundated with my own. Inundate means overflow; it means deluge. The Great Flood. The Ultimate Renewal. Born again. I’m always swimming, my head right under. And when will I rise, too?

My beloved, my dearly inundated, look for me. In the trainyard, by the traintracks, framing the sea.

It really is as mysterious as it looks! Usually my wallpaper is made from my own photos, but after 2 days I get tired of it.
I love, love, love your banner :)
